Local steakhouse staple on our list as a go to. Reasonable priced and a good value. We go to the store in Manchester where there is a wait most days before 6:30. The rolls and house salad are straight forward. The lemon dressing is refreshing. Depending on your appetite the filet, sirloin, strip or ribeye will all satisfy. However the Big ole Pork Chop is a great change of pace. All seasoned well. If there was suggestion- they tend to over cook the steaks and they need to clean their grills - sometimes the "char" overwhelms the flavor of the seasoning and the meat. Sides are baked potatoes- large with or with butter and heart attack style is the best. They have a bunch of other items and though the pizza also get good reviews, there is enough of that elsewhere. Certainly a great place for a good steak.

Need a fancy place to celebrate good news? Check. Need a casual place to have a great steak? Check. The food is outstanding with a wide price range. A sandwich is decently cheap. If you want the rib eye, it's going to set you back. It can get busy so be prepared to wait. And the waiting area can get full, and the bar area is small. The staff is friendly and will keep your drink glasses full. I've been to the South county location as well, not I prefer the vibe of the soulard one.

That's the sign of a great place! Whether you're looking for a Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Porterhouse, or Thick-Cut Pork Chop, Tucker's is your spot! Lunch specials daily you can't beat! Burger, side, drink (soda, beer, cocktail, etc.) for only like $13... c'mon! Sign me up! Also, a fan favorite is Tuesday night Prime Rib! You gotta check em out! The Soulard location is my go to so get you some!

Thursday dinner, onion rings, bone in ribeye, filet with loaded potato, salad and rolls. Flavors and quality were great. Service and environment are great.

Tucker's was on point tonight. The steaks were seasoned and grilled to perfection. My filet tasted like butter. The service was very attentive and absolutely great. Our server suggested the chocolate cake and it was so very good. Get it, you won't be sorry. This place is an absolute institution.

Came in and ordered the 8oz filet and shrimp. I ordered it medium well and it came out rare. I still ate it and it had good flavor, but I like my meat cooked and not bloody. I'm not one to return food so I just handled it the way it was cooked. Melissa did an amazing job waiting on us... she gets 5 stars... food gets three stars for a total rating thanks to Melissa's perfect service... 4 stars

Surprisingly, it was crowded when we arrived so it was a 40 minute wait. The place is rustic and intimate. There's a few reserved parking spaces around the back of the restaurant for Tuckers Place customers. The hostess was very nice and let us know our updated place on the waitlist often. Our waitress was rude. It's like she wanted to rush us while taking orders. It was our first time dining here and she was cutting us off and speaking loudly. If I remembered her name, I would state it. Anywho, the food was so delicious! The lemon pepper salad dressing was GREAT! Never heard of that before. The shrimp were colossal and well seasoned as well was the salmon; very flaky, nice size and flavorful. The bread that comes is nothing special. It didn't add nor takeaway from my food experience. I would go back and hopefully not have the same waitress.

From beginning to end, everything was stellar. From the hostess to the waiter the customer service was definitely A-1. They were packed and still got us seated fast. The lighting was dim and it was very personable. The restaurant was clean inside and out. Though it was crowded it did not get loud at all. The servers and service was very quick. There was nothing we had to ask for twice. He recommended us an amazing wine and let me taste it first. I'd get it again‼ While this is not my first time here, all 3 times I've been the ribeye has been consistent. Very, sect juicy, flavorful and reheats very well in the microwave. The potatoes are huge and their Lemon Pepper house dressing definitely one you can't get anywhere else.
